Why trust Refine Aesthetics? Having received Botox for the past 15+ years, I feel that I could give my clients a better experience, exceptional results and above all – I really do care. Believe me, I’ve had the “mistakes” made on me over the years. The needle has definitely won a few times and I’ve ended up with major bruising, dropped eyebrows ( a few times!) and a closed eyelid twice. Personally I know how this feels and can give you my word that I will do everything I can to avoid any negative results. I can’t promise you won’t bruise, it is after all a needle. But using my AccuVein vein finder, I look to see where the veins are and mark them so I don’t go near! I also use a Clarius ultrasound for filler placement for safe outcomes. I value continued education for myself and all my staff. Aesthetics is an ever changing field so we keep learning! It makes me so happy to see our clients thrilled with their results! Being a Registered Nurse for almost 32 years, 20 years being in the Emergency Department, has definitely given me the skills and expertise to administer facial aesthetics. Understanding that listening to my patients is paramount to great care and results. Being able to help someone through their injury/illness has given me so much happiness and validates my decision to have made nursing my career choice. In addition, my nursing background also includes 7 years as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner which was a life changing experience. I am retired from UC Health and am devoting all my time to facial aesthetics.
My family includes my husband John, retired after 35 years with CSFD as a Lt./Paramedic/firefighter. We have 3 adult children, Ryan and wife Natalie, Amanda and Jennifer. Our 10 year old grandson, Braxton, gives me a reason to smile any time of the day! My extended family is quite large which makes for busy holidays and family events. My passion is travel and I always am planning the next trip which is fun and educating! My parents used to travel quite a bit, and I think I got that gene! Love to hike our beautiful mountain trails, and try to keep healthy by getting to the gym as well. I used to run marathons and completed the Pikes Peak Marathon multiple times as well as the Ascent. I volunteered as the medical director for the Pikes Peak Marathon/Ascent for many years and loved supporting all the runners who came from all over the world to run our beautiful mountain!

I have always loved anything associated with skin care – whether it was trying the newest and latest cream, reading a beauty article or watching way more blackhead extraction videos that I care to admit to! I decided to make this interest into my passion. With continued education, I grow in my knowledge and love this field even more! Extra certifications obtained are laser technician, dermaplane certification, micro needling certification with countless hours of online classes.

My passion is helping people achieve their body contouring goals and to create a welcoming and supportive environment along the CoolSculpting journey. I’ve been teaching a variety of fitness classes since 2008 and working part-time as a Physical Therapy Rehab Tech for over 10 years.
Because fitness is one of my passions, I know how frustrating it is to work out regularly, eat right, and still have areas of the body that just don’t look as toned and lean as they used to. It’s one of my own personal struggles! I’m excited to help individuals look and feel their best and get the results they aren’t seeing from diet and exercise alone. I look forward to meeting you in the office and possibly seeing you out on the many local trails and ski slopes!

Ever since I was a little girl, I was always interested in everything about skin care – trying new products, coming up with new skin care routines, and even helping friends feel comfortable in their own skin. After having the amazing job of being a stay at home mom for many years, I decided to go after my other passion and become a licensed aesthetician. I’ve been an aesthetician for 10 years now and get more excited for how I help others every day! I love learning about what’s trending, how this industry is always changing, and how I can be my best for my clients. I want to help people feel good about themselves and assist them in achieving their personal goals; we all have different ideas of what we want to refine, and I want to be there for you every step of the way.
As an Aesthetician and Coolsculpting tech, my main focus is giving my guests a one-on-one experience, where I listen to any concerns or goals they might have.
